THE WHY
Fishing requires patience and perseverance combined with a little luck. It has provided sustenance, community, and character defining attributes for thousands of generations. We now live in a world of instant gratification through digital consumption, leading to disconnection, isolation and loneliness. Our goal is to reintroduce the art of fishing to the next generation. Providing them with opportunities to develop community, camaraderie, and character.
Getting kids involved in extracurricular activities is critical to the development and future of the next generation. Kids shouldn’t be deprived of these opportunities because of financial burden or limited resources.
THE HOW
CHAPTERS
Our founding club is at Sheldon High School. We aim to plant additional clubs by partnering with other schools in our community.
Education
We are firm believers that the best way to learn something is by doing. In collaboration with partners we are building hands-on curriculum and experiences to introduce kids to fishing.
